Scrapbooking // two pages one layout & a video

Hello everyone! I'm posting today about my process for creating two pages with one layout. I have two girls and I always want to make things even for them. I'm a twin I know how it feels when someone gets something and the other doesn't. Having the girls so close together, they really do feel like having twins (so says my mother).

I've also challenged myself to use up an embellishment that has been overwhelming to me. They are the Maggie Holmes Flower diecuts. There are so many of these things, they are beautiful, but I'm not sure I'd use them all if I didn't use them here. I used the Show Me Your Magic kit from Treasured Memories and I also played with some Gelatos and I love the way this all came together.

How do you simplify scrapbooking for multiple children? I'd love to hear your ideas!

  1. I have twin 15 yr old boys and a 10 yr old girl. Luckily the boys don't pay a lot of attention to what I do. But I am pretty even. I find that bothers me and I am mindful of who's turn it is. I still need to be inspired by the story and photos, as I'm not a chronological scrapper and have only been at it little over a year. The boys do different activities, and they are in a different stage my girl is, I just try and keep a balance. Anyway, your layouts are beautiful, love the gelato work, and your layering is awesome. 1. I'm not a Chronological scrapper either. I scrap the photos I like. Luckily the girls are only 2&3. SO I can catch up on their baby scrapbooks quite quickly! hehe Thanks Michelle!

  2. Beautiful layouts, love how you mimicked the design so that each girl has their own special page!
